Thai restaurant in the heart of Uptown!

This took up the space that was Haagen Daaz and then Panera.
The staff was very friendly, although lunchtime service was slow, but we were not in a hurry. I think the place was just adjusting to being open.
The food was decent, although I tried a more traditional Thai food fare of Pad Thai.
This is definitely a welcome addition to Uptown, maybe they'll add wirless and replace the void of free internet now that Panera is gone.

This place is nothing at all like its exterior always made me believe. I drew the uninformed conclusion, based on the rainbow-colored neon sign, that it was a bright place with a sparkling-clean counter and cash register, a place to grab some quick, cheap Thai food on your lunch break or something.
I was quite surprised, then, to be met with an exotically detailed, beautifully put-together fancy pants restaurant! It really is lovely inside--the art, sculpture and furnishings are extremely nice, and it has much more the air of a restaurant you'd visit on a special occasion or to treat yourself (or someone else) to a nice dinner out.
It's nice. And tasty. Especially tasty.

It looks like a dump on the outside with really cheesy rainbow neon sign above the door. Once you get in, Wow! Decorated walls and brighly lit with umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. I went with two of my friends from Colombia and they were both really impressed by the look of the restaurant and the food.
