Choose amongst tomato, onion, lettuce, sprouts, butter pickles (ask if you'd prefer dill), provolone, swiss, cheddar, American, Monterey Jack or mozzarella cheese, dijon, French's, or honey mustard, or mayo. Extra items: pepperchinies, olives, or mushrooms (0.50-1.00). Your choice of fresh baked french roll, rye, wheat, or sour dough bread.

I'm so glad that the expensive restaurant we were going to go to was closed and that we asked a local for a recommendation. This cute little sandwich shop was affordable, the staff were down-to-earth and friendly, and the sandwiches were awesome! From what I've heard (this is our first day here) eating out in Hawai'i can break your bank. Don't just eat at all the expensive touristy restaurants, check out an unpretentious shop where the food is just as good and you won't go broke!
Oh! And they have Wasabi Funyuns!

This was great. I am so glad we found this place. If there's a hitchhikers guide to Kauai this restaurant would be on it.
