The Roseville location doesn't have a lot of curb appeal. Because of its location near a Best Western (or some other cheap hotel) and the plain look of the building, I had for years thought it was part of the hotel and was not interested in trying an Indian restaurant attached to a cheap motel.

Once inside, though, the decor is much nicer. It was a cool retreat on a hot day and the carved wooden decor in the windows helped block out the vicious sun.

The service was friendly and attentive and the guy who poured water, much to my delight, must have visited us ten times throughout our meal. One thing I can't stand is having a spicy meal and searching helplessly for water.

The location is also very convenient as it's located near the intersection of 35W and 36 and Rosedale Mall.

6-8-09: We received a coupon (expiring 7-6-09) in the mail offering "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" at Indian Palace. We have used hundreds of such coupons. Their interpretation is "Buy 2 Get the Next 1 Free" despite the additional implication saying "buy 2 breveages" is required and their phrase has a very standard interpretation of "Buy 2 and Get one of them for free." In addtion, when we entered, we specially asked "Can this 2 for 1 offer apply to the lunch buffet. They said yes. When the bill came they said no. Food was only fair and we're not going back. We very much don't like deceptive advertising!
