A tasty full breakfast, but for some reason I was hungry sooner than I normally would be with this much protein. Maybe because the steak was so fatty? Despite being fatty it was actually quite good in that greasy cheap steak kinda way. I didn't mind the fat because it added a lot to the flavor and it was mainly in big chunks on the edge that I could just cut off rather than being mixed in all over the meat. I can't stand steak that's so chewy you can't really swallow, you just have to chew all the flavor out and spit it out like gum. The steak at Waffle House may not have been super tender, but at least I could chew it and swallow it and it still had that awesome fatty greasy flavor that I love once every few months.
I was very pleased that they were perfectly willing to substitute my toast for Texas toast and that they had the option of getting sliced tomato instead of hashbrowns so I could feel like I was having a little something healthy. They eggs were a little runny, but not so much that I was grossed out and couldn't eat them. At least that meant the yolks were nice and runny too.
